Mrs Scully doesn't know any more what to say. She's old and her view is bad. But even if she doesn't see very well, she knows that it's this man the culprit, it's more than one at present! But Venetia and the judge aren't of this opinion. For them, Mrs Scully is just an old woman who sees bad and who has to have some psychological problems, it's not new. There are many testimonies which are false or are not based. Venetia will want to be able to believe in her, but trust a lady believing to have seen a man, can be innocent, it is against the laws and it is the judge who decides after all.
"It is very possible that Garry Ashe is freed without any punishment. It's so the hard reality of the life!, However the investigation is going to continue, we cannot leave a not resolute affair." Said Venetia to Mrs Scully. She thanked her for her cooperation and says to her:"If Mr Ashe Behaves strangely, do not hesitate to speak about it to the police!"
It's the end of the cross-examination.
